Frequently Asked Questions
How do we choose a location?
Session locations are tailored to your vision! Lifestyle sessions can take place in the comfort of your home or our Arvada studio. For outdoor portraits, we typically shoot in the scenic foothills with the stunning Colorado mountains as a backdrop, or around downtown Denver for a chic, urban feel. If you have a specific spot in mind, we’d love to hear it! Please note that sessions outside the Denver metro area may incur an additional travel fee.
Is the deposit refundable?
If you reschedule, your deposit rolls right over to the new date—no problem.
If you cancel without rescheduling within one week of your session, the deposit is non-refundable.
Are digital images included?
Yes! Each package includes a set number of images. If you decide you want more than what’s included, additional images are available to purchase.
How many photos will I receive?
That depends on the session you book. Each package clearly lists what’s included so you know exactly what to expect.
How many outfits can I bring?
• Families or groups: One outfit works best and keeps things stress-free.
• Individuals: It depends on the session. Branding sessions usually allow 2–4 outfits.
Mini sessions are about 30 minutes and are typically best for one outfit, but if you’re quick, we can sometimes fit in two.
Do you travel outside the Denver area?
Yes! I’m happy to travel. Locations beyond 45 minutes from Denver may include a travel fee, which we can chat about beforehand.
How long have you been doing photography?
I started in 2018, photographing friends, family, and neighbors. Things grew quickly, I was having way too much fun, and before I knew it—this became my full-time business.
How do I book a session?
Easy! Just use my online booking system to reserve your date.
Can I get the RAW (unedited) photos?
Usually, no. I deliver finished images that reflect my style and quality of work.
Do you have a studio?
Yes! I have a small, cozy studio in my basement, and I absolutely love using it for headshots and branding sessions.
What’s the best time of day for photos?
Golden hour is the sweet spot 🌞
That’s right after sunrise or about 90 minutes before sunset.
• Mountain sessions look best in the evenings
• City/urban sessions work well in both mornings and evenings
When and how do I pay the remaining balance?
I’ll send you an invoice after the session. You can pay via Venmo, Zelle, or cash if we meet in person.
How long does it take to get my photos?
• Edited gallery:
◦ 7–10 days normally
◦ 10–14 days during busy season (summer–fall)
• Retouching: add about 3–4 extra days

What’s the difference between editing and retouching?
• Editing is the overall polish—adjusting lighting, color, contrast, and making sure the images look consistent and professional. Every delivered image gets this.
• Retouching is more detailed work, like cleaning up blemishes, flyaway hairs, or small distractions. Depending on your session, you’ll choose a certain number of images for this extra touch.

Where do I change outfits?
That depends on the location. Sometimes it’s your car or a nearby restroom. For parks or spots without restrooms, I also have a portable changing tent—problem solved.
How will I receive my photos?
You’ll get a private online gallery link where you can download your images. Photos are delivered as high-resolution JPEGs.
How far in advance should I book?
Spring, summer, and fall fill up fast, so I recommend booking 1–2 months in advance when possible.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Colorado weather and real life can be unpredictable—rescheduling is totally okay. Sessions canceled without rescheduling within one week of the shoot may result in losing the deposit.
Do you shoot weddings or events?
I photograph very small, intimate weddings only—please reach out to check availability.
Events depend on the details, so feel free to ask!
